Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Android Software Engineer to join its health technology engineering team in Chicago. The role focuses on premium mobile experiences, integrating with sophisticated hardware and data-driven wellness products.

You will work in a collaborative environment using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, and MVVM/MVI patterns. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of Android development, strong Kotlin skills, and a passion for quality mobile experiences that scale

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency with Kotlin.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Experience using Coroutines and Flow.
• Deep understanding of MVVM and/or MVI architecture patterns.
• Experience building scalable and maintainable mobile applications.
• Knowledge of testing, performance optimization, and code quality practices.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
