Job summary

Yum! Brands seeks an experienced Senior Software Engineer II to design and build Android mobile software powering our restaurant platforms across Taco Bell, KFC and Pizza Hut. You will own features end to end, implement MVVM patterns, and drive testing and quality in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities include building an Android-based POS/operational platform used worldwide, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging AI tooling while ensuring security and reliability.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or higher in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
• 5+ years hands-on experience building robust mobile software.
• Strong Android fundamentals: Kotlin, Android SDK and Jetpack Compose.
• Proven history of writing robust software with solid architectures and testing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Build an Android-based platform for POS and operations used in thousands of restaurants worldwide.
• Own features end to end—from design and implementation to testing and deployment (CI/CD).
• Uphold MVVM architecture and write unit/integration tests to keep code clean and maintainable.
• Collaborate with product, design and QA to deliver cohesive features for multiple brands.
