Job summary

Aquent is partnering with a leading financial services organization to deliver enterprise Android applications. We seek a skilled Android developer to design, implement, and deploy features that shape the user experience and business outcomes in a fast-paced, agile environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor juniors, and influence engineering standards while using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Gradle, and REST APIs to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of professional native Android development shipping production apps.
• Strong hands-on Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, Gradle and REST APIs knowledge.
• Experience designing, implementing, testing, releasing and supporting production features.
• Proven Agile delivery experience including sprint planning and release planning.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, release, and support enterprise Android features.
• Collaborate in Agile teams, participate in sprint planning and releases.
• Translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership through code/design reviews and mentoring.
• Utilize Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, Gradle and REST APIs.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and modern Android patterns.
