Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing and building complex Android systems.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience in consumer banking including account management and onboarding.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced Android applications for financial services.
• Collaborate with leadership, Product Owners, Designers, and other technologists to deploy apps in enterprise and public app stores based on business and technical priorities.
• Actively contribute to robust software architecture, development and engineering best practices, and the adoption of new technologies.
• Break down complex problems into elegant technical solutions to intelligently solve problems for Lab49's clients.
• Utilize industry best practices to ensure code quality and robustness including edge cases, usability and general reliability.
• Advocate test-driven development and deliver high quality, resilient solutions.
• Resolve defects and enhance application performance by analyzing and optimizing code.
• This is an onsite role - 5 days/ week in the WTC are in NYC.
