Job summary

Crestron Electronics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Android Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance camera and audio solutions for the UC product portfolio. You will lead integration with Android‑based UC platforms, ensuring interoperability, reliability, and performance.

The role requires deep Android expertise, AOSP experience, and a track record delivering AI‑powered user experiences in a fast‑paced environment. Hybrid/onsite collaboration in NJ preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Android platform development including embedded Android systems and AOSP.
• Proficient with object‑oriented programming with C/C++/Java/Kotlin and modular design.
• Senior developer with end-to-end SDLC experience.
• Experience with agile development and solving complex problems.
• Knowledge of JIRA/Confluence/Git/Gerrit/GitHub/SVN.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to cross-domain UC feature development and agile lifecycle.
• Develop a full understanding of the system and framework for future development and troubleshooting.
• Integrate in-house or 3rd‑party cameras and audio into UC Android platforms.
• Create and demonstrate proofs of concepts to guide decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement and resolve legacy issues, with onsite support as needed.
