Crestron Electronics, Inc. in New Jersey seeks a Senior Android Software Engineer to design and enhance camera and audio solutions across the UC portfolio. This role emphasizes Android internals, framework development, and architecture with a focus on AI-powered experiences.

You will lead integration of cameras and audio devices with the Android-based UC platform, ensuring interoperability, performance, and reliability in both development and real‑world environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience on Android platform including embedded Android systems and AOSP.
• Proficient in object‑oriented programming with C/C++/Java/Kotlin and modular design.
• Senior developer with full lifecycle experience: scope, plan, design, implement, test, deliver.
• Experience driving innovation and solving complex problems across teams.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to cross‑domain effort for UC product solutions; participate in full lifecycle development in an agile environment.
• Develop deep understanding of existing system to support developers and troubleshooting.
• Integrate in‑house or third‑party cameras and audio devices into UC Android platforms.
• Create and demonstrate proof of concepts to guide decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation across legacy projects and new technologies.
