Realtor.com is seeking a Sr. Android engineer to build native Android experiences that scale for millions of users. You’ll design architectures, collaborate with product, design, and backend teams, and implement high-quality mobile features with a focus on reliability and performance.

In this role, you’ll mentor teammates, advocate for testing best practices, and contribute to on-call rotations while delivering end-to-end mobile solutions in a fast-paced environment at our Austin HQ.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a software engineer building products at scale.
• 3+ years developing native mobile apps in a team.
• Quality-driven design with BDD/TDD and tests at core.
• Strong object-oriented design and coding skills.
• Experience leading teams and managing technical projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in cross-functional teams to drive product development from ideation to release.
• Define and evolve architecture and implementation of consumer experiences.
• Bridge business needs to technical solutions with resilient products.
• Build a stable, scalable mobile architecture using modern patterns.
• Mentor teammates and promote testing best practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure app reliability.
