This is a remote position.

About the Role

We have developed an Android Application and a cloud-based SaaS platform as a turnkey solution for telehealth programs. We are looking for an Android Developer who is passionate about pushing mobile technologies to the limits. You will work with our talented team to design and build the next generation of mobile applications, improve performance, and fix bugs.

Work closely with other app development and technical teams, and learn from highly experienced mentors on complex live projects. We seek high-energy individuals eager to explore and learn Android application development.

Responsibilities

1. Participate in the mobile app creation process based on Android and SQL Lite.
2. Design and develop advanced applications for the Intelehealth Android platform.
3. Fix bugs and improve application performance.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design new features.
5. Integrate outside data sources and APIs.
6. Unit-test code for robustness, usability, and reliability.

Requirements

Must have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (BSc, MSc, MCA, BE/B.Tech) in Computer Science or IT.

Overall Skill Requirements:

• Strong programming knowledge of Android technologies: Java, Kotlin, Material Design, JSON, XML, Room DB, LiveData, Jetpack components, MVVM.
• Understanding of Android core concepts: Activities, Fragments, Services, Intents, Broadcast Receivers.
• Proficiency with REST API integration.
• Knowledge of mobile architecture and general mobile development practices.
• Basic skills in XML and Android layout building.
• Open to learning new technologies and concepts.
• Contributions to open-source projects are highly desirable.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
