Qualifications

• 5–8 years of Android development in a global organization.
• At least two years of mobile architecture or design leadership.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin, RxJava, Coroutines, Jetpack Compose.
• Deep understanding of clean architecture and modular design.
• Experience with Android security, performance optimization, and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design robust native Android applications using Kotlin, RxJava, Coroutines, and Jetpack Compose.
• Define clean, modular architecture patterns for separation of concerns and testability.
• Drive asynchronous and reactive development to improve responsiveness and resource use.
• Profile and optimize startup time, memory usage, and network calls.
• Implement security controls for data protection and secure storage.
• Establish unit, instrumentation, and UI testing strategies and integrate with CI/CD.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to translate requirements into scalable Android solutions.
• Guide use of Android Jetpack libraries for navigation, lifecycle, DI, and persistence.
• Shape Play Store distribution, build variants, feature flags, and phased rollout strategies.
• Embed accessibility best practices into Compose components and layouts.
• Lead debugging of complex production issues with profiling and crash analytics.
• Document architectural decisions and reusable Android patterns.
