Qualifications

• 5+ years building consumer-facing Android apps at scale.
• Proficient in Kotlin with coroutines and Flow.
• Expertise in Jetpack Compose and performance optimization.
• Experience with unidirectional architectures (MVI/MVVM).
• Strong knowledge of multi-module Gradle setups and module boundaries.
• Solid dependency injection with Hilt/Dagger.
• GraphQL on Android using Apollo Kotlin.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bitrise).
• Commitment to testing: unit, UI, and integration tests.
• Familiarity with static analysis and code quality gates.
• AIs-assisted development tools usage is a plus.
• Structured PRs and project-tracker discipline.
• Ability to influence across teams and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship shared Android foundations and internal libraries.
• Own unified identity, session, and entitlement flows across surfaces.
• Lead migrations and consolidate live users without disruption.
• Own features end to end: API contracts, state handling, UI, tests, and release.
• Build deep linking and cross-surface handoffs for a seamless experience.
• Write tests and maintain test coverage across modules.
• Instrument ships with telemetry, feature flags, and monitoring.
• Manage performance: startup time, scrolling, and memory usage.
• Review PRs, surface defects, and coach on quality.
• Contribute to architecture choices and modularization strategy.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise the team’s quality bar.
