Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking an Android AOSP engineer to design, implement, and optimize the Android AOSP stack for PAC Seat Box, translating IFE use cases into robust platform capabilities across the Android framework and native layers.

You will collaborate with product, architecture, and hardware teams, contribute to telemetry, performance tuning, and secure boot, while delivering production-quality, validated code.

Qualifications

• Extensive professional experience developing and debugging Android platform software.
• Strong hands-on experience in AOSP framework and native layers.
• Deep knowledge of Android architecture, including system services and HALs.
• Experience integrating Android with vendor BSPs, kernel drivers, or SoC platforms.
• Ability to profile and optimize embedded or resource-constrained systems.
• Experience designing telemetry and observability for embedded platforms.
• Excellent collaboration with distributed teams and vendors.
• Experience with Android Automotive OS or automotive components.

Responsibilities

• Design and productize multi-display support for VM configurations.
• Work across WindowManager, DisplayManager, and related stacks.
• Validate end-to-end display paths with cross-functional teams.
• Deliver production-quality code with comprehensive validation.
• Contribute to CI/CD, builds, testing, and release readiness.
• Create traceability from requirements to operational metrics.
• Participate in planning, estimation, and risk management.
