Job summary

Omega Solutions Inc seeks an Android AOSP engineer to design, implement, integrate, and optimize the Android AOSP stack for the PAC Seat Box.

Translate IFE use cases into robust platform capabilities across Android framework, native services, HALs, display and media paths, with cross-functional collaboration across product, architecture, applications, validation, security, BSP, QNX/Linux, and hardware teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years embedded Android platform software development.
• Experience with Android framework and native layers.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Java or Kotlin.
• Deep knowledge of Android architecture, services, HALs, and security.
• Experience integrating Android with vendor BSPs, kernel drivers, or SoC platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and productize multi-display support across VM configurations.
• Work across WindowManager, DisplayManager, SurfaceFlinger, and HALs.
• Collaborate with chipset, BSP, and hardware teams to validate end-to-end display paths.
• Deliver production-quality code with unit and integration tests.
• Contribute to CI/CD, reproducible builds, and release readiness.
• Create traceability from requirements to metrics and defects.
• Participate in planning, estimation, and defect triage.
