Job summary

Workday Government is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join the Analytics Delivery Engineering team in Reston, VA. You will design, build, and operate a scalable Kubernetes platform, automating infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with Prism Analytics and SRE teams.

The role requires cloud experience, strong Linux fundamentals, and a proactive mindset to support government contracts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on infrastructure experience, on-premises or cloud
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts, architecture and administration
• Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement solutions for Kubernetes platform, including automation and CI/CD pipelines
• Build and maintain core platform components for high availability, scalability and security
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and config management with Terraform and Argo CD
• Provide troubleshooting and support for platform-related issues with development teams
• Ensure security best practices and regulatory compliance for the platform
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation; share knowledge across the team
