Job summary

Workday is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer on the Analytics Delivery Engineering team to support one or more U.S. Federal Government contracts. You will help build a clean, scalable, reliable, and automated services framework for Prism Analytics in Workday Federal deployments.

The role requires TS/SCI w/CI Poly eligibility; 7+ years of infra experience, strong Kubernetes expertise, and proficiency in GoLang or Python. This position offers flexible work arrangements within the U.S.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on experience with infrastructure, on-prem or cloud, with strong systems architecture, networking, and security.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts, architecture, and administration.
• Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement solutions for the Kubernetes platform, including infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.
• Build and maintain core platform components for high availability, scalability, and security.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployments using Terraform and Argo CD.
• Provide troubleshooting and support for platform issues, collaborating with development teams to resolve problems.
• Ensure security and compliance best practices across the platform and maintain thorough documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders across locations/time zones; stay current with platform tech trends.
