Medica is a nonprofit health plan with more than a million members serving Minnesota and beyond. This Senior Consultant role blends analytics with executive decision support in a hybrid office setting in Minnetonka, MN.

You will partner with Population Health, Quality, Finance, and Analytics to translate data into actionable insights, deliver executive reports, and drive performance improvement. Requires 8+ years in healthcare analytics, and strong SQL/Python/R skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• 8+ years of healthcare analytics, health insurance, quality or risk adjustment experience.
• Advanced SQL skills with independent querying, joining, validating, and analyzing large datasets.
• Experience using Python or R for healthcare data analysis.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to partner across business, clinical, financial, and operational stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently on complex analytical questions.

• Analyze Quality and Risk Adjustment performance to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Develop executive-level reporting and actionable insights for leadership.
