Job summary

Blue Nile is seeking a data-driven planner to optimize demand planning, replenishment, and store performance analytics. You will build dashboards, validate data, and partner with planning teams to improve forecast accuracy and inventory efficiency.

Responsibilities include forecasting support, KPI tracking, and cross-functional collaboration with Merchandising, Finance, Operations, and Technology to standardize data definitions and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Quantitative skills with data analytics focus.
• Experience with forecasting, replenishment, or inventory concepts.
• Experience in retail or luxury brands is valued.

Responsibilities

• Build, automate, and maintain recurring reporting and dashboards for Planning.
• Extract, clean, and reconcile data across sources for decision-ready views.
• Define and track planning KPIs and alert on exceptions.
• Investigate variance and identify root causes affecting demand signals.
• Prepare inputs for weekly planning and monthly IBP cadence.
• Partner with demand and supply planners to improve forecasting and replenishment.
• Analyze store replenishment, inventory turns, and performance against plan.
• Develop inventory and assortment analyses and actionable insights.
• Automate recurring analyses in Python and document processes.
