Job summary

Baxter is seeking a data‑driven Senior Analyst for the Commercial Analytics team in Deerfield, IL. You will build and validate reports, strengthen data quality, and translate business questions into actionable insights that inform sales strategy and revenue performance.

You’ll work hands‑on with SQL, Alteryx, and BI tools to prepare, reconcile, and interpret data from Salesforce, ERP, and other sources. This is a hybrid role with visibility across the commercial organization and opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, data analytics, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial analytics or sales BI roles.
• Strong experience working with Salesforce data, including opportunities, accounts, and pipeline metrics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain recurring sales and commercial performance reporting across accounts, products, and regions.
• Support pipeline and forecasting analytics by extracting, validating, and analyzing opportunity data from Salesforce.
• Build dashboards and reports that track bookings, pipeline health, win rates, and sales execution metrics.
• Perform contract analytics, including pricing validation, volume commitments, and commercial performance tracking.
• Reconcile reported sales, contracted pricing, and revenue assumptions with Sales Operations and Finance.
• Use SQL and Alteryx to extract, transform, and validate data from Salesforce, ERP systems, and other sources.
• Conduct data quality checks, investigate root-cause issues, and collaborate with upstream data owners to ensure accuracy.
• Translate business questions into clear analytical outputs and present insights to commercial stakeholders.
