Job summary

Deloitte GPS is seeking an Analytics and Insights Engineer III to lead quantitative workforce modeling, data preparation, and model development for government clients in the United States. The role combines statistics, machine learning, and collaboration with data science teams to deliver scalable workforce insights.

The position requires 5+ years in workforce modeling, 4+ years of Python experience, and a Secret or higher clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building, validating, or maintaining quantitative workforce models.
• 4+ years of experience applying advanced statistics, including regression, calibration, diagnostics.
• 4+ years of experience with machine learning models and feature engineering.
• 4+ years of Python programming for analysis, data prep, and model development.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Active Secret or above security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Build and validate quantitative workforce models for military, civilian, and contractor populations.
• Analyze, clean, and prepare data from government personnel systems for modeling.
• Perform feature engineering and model calibration to improve accuracy and defensibility.
• Collaborate with Senior Data Scientists and AI engineers to integrate outputs into a front-end application.
• Ensure model assumptions, calculations, and outputs are traceable and explainable for client validation.
