Job summary

Appfire in Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Analytics Engineer to help build the company-wide data asset in Snowflake. You will partner with analytics and data teams to define, test, and activate metrics and dimensions that empower self‑service analytics and scalable KPI governance.

You will design data models, pipelines, and semantic layers using DBT and SQL, ensuring trusted, accessible insights across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Passion for high data quality and analytics engineering work.
• Strong skills in SQL.
• Expert in schema design and dimensional data modeling.
• Experience with Python and DBT.

Responsibilities

• Understand data needs by interfacing with Analytics Engineers, Data Engineers, Data Analysts and Business Partners.
• Architect, build, and launch efficient data models and pipelines using DBT and Snowflake.
• Design and implement metrics and dimensions enabling self‑service analysis and structured views of Appfire’s KPI’s that scale trust and impact.
• Define and share best practices on metric, dimension, and data model development and definitions for analytics use cases.
