Job summary

Appfire is seeking an experienced Senior Analytics Engineer for a fully remote role in the United States. You will build company-wide data assets from ground up data sources, leveraging Snowflake, DBT, and Python to deliver trusted metrics and self-service analytics.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable scalable data solutions across the business. You will design robust data models, pipelines, and KPI layers, while defining best practices and ensuring high data quality to

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling ability.
• Experience with dbt and Python for analytics.
• Ability to design self-service analytics and metric layers.
• Excellent communication and documentation to explain complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Understand decision needs by interfacing with Analytics Engineers, Data Engineers, Data Analysts and Business Partners.
• Architect, build, and launch efficient data models and pipelines using DBT and Snowflake.
• Define and share best practices on metric, dimension, and data model development for analytics use cases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enable scalable, trusted analytics across the company.
