Job summary

Good Inside is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to own the data foundation for the product. You will design production-grade dbt models for events and subscriptions, own Amplitude instrumentation, and enable data-driven decisions across Product, Engineering, and Data teams.

Hybrid role based in Manhattan with three days onsite, combining engineering rigor with analytics to deliver actionable insights and self-serve dashboards, while maintaining data quality and governance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or product analytics roles.
• Expert SQL and strong Python for modeling, pipelines, and analysis.
• Experience with a modern data warehouse (Snowflake) and orchestration tools (Airflow, Fivetran).

Responsibilities

• Build the Product Data Foundation with modular dbt models for events and engagement.
• Maintain Amplitude instrumentation and tracking plans with product/engineering teams.
• Model subscription lifecycle data and connect to product behavior.
• Ensure data quality with tests, monitoring, and alerts.
• Turn data into product decisions with funnel/cohort analyses and experiments.
