Access Search, Inc. is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer who can transform large-scale healthcare and operational data into trusted datasets powering analytics, reporting, and external data delivery.

This highly visible individual contributor role shapes best practices, mentors teammates, and partners with BI teams to build scalable data models using dbt, Databricks, and Power BI while upholding PHI and HIPAA requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Warehousing, or related field.
• Advanced SQL and dimensional modeling principles.
• Hands-on dbt and modern cloud data platforms (Databricks preferred).
• Knowledge of PHI and HIPAA compliance requirements.
• Experience designing data models, warehouse architectures, or analytics environments.
• Proven ability to lead projects, mentor teammates, and drive delivery from concept to implementation.
• Strong ability to translate ambiguous requirements into actionable technical solutions.
• Self-starter with a track record of improving processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable dimensional models and curated data layers using Azure Databricks and dbt.
• Build and maintain source-to-target mappings for external data deliverables with high data quality.
• Transform healthcare, financial, and operational data into well-documented, reusable datasets.
• Drive development best practices, including testing frameworks, code reviews, GitHub workflows, and CI/CD processes.
• Partner with BI teams to create reusable data models supporting enterprise reporting and Power BI solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to manage ingestion, integrations, and platform modernization.
• Assess warehouse architecture and recommend scalability, reliability improvements.
• Lead technical discussions, mentor team members, and establish analytics standards across the function.
