Job summary

Premise Health in Brentwood, TN is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineering Developer to transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets and lead scalable data modeling efforts. This hybrid, full-time role partners with stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in analytics engineering with strong SQL/dbt skills and cloud experience (Databricks/Snowflake); leadership and healthcare data familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 5+ years of analytics engineering/BI/data modeling experience.
• Proficient in SQL and dbt with strong data modeling knowledge.
• Experience with Git/version control.
• Healthcare data experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and optimizes scalable data models following standards.
• Develops advanced SQL and dbt models, tests, and transformations.
• Leads BI modeling and semantic layer development.
• Promotes best coding practices with well-documented code.
• Maintains documentation and READMEs with clear assumptions.
