Job summary

Andor Health is seeking an Analytics Engineer III to design and optimize data models, pipelines, and analytics solutions across the platform. You will partner with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver reliable data for internal and customer analytics.

The role emphasizes leading BI initiatives, improving data quality, and guiding architectural decisions while mentoring junior engineers in a fast-paced healthcare tech environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in analytics/data engineering or analytics-focused roles within healthcare.
• 5 years of experience with SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI in a full-time role.
• Experience designing and evaluating data models, pipelines, and analytics solutions at scale.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data transformation patterns, and data quality practices.
• Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction without direct authority.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment (preferred).
• Experience with Python and Visual Studio Code (preferred).
• Basic understanding of AI concepts (models, embeddings, RAG systems) (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop BI dashboards while leading and managing a BI team to analyze platform utilization adoption, clinical outcomes, product ROI, and operational data for healthcare systems.
• Lead the design and evolution of data pipelines and transformation frameworks.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to engineering, product, and business stakeholders on data and analytics.
• Guide data model alignment and ensure solutions adhere to long-term platform and data architecture direction.
• Contribute high-quality code to pipelines, models, and shared analytics frameworks as needed.
• Drive technical discussions, reviews, and solution evaluations.
• Identify systemic data quality risks, modeling gaps, and technical debt.
• Promote best practices in data modeling, testing, documentation, and maintainability.
• Support and provide guidance to Analytics Engineer I & II team members.
