Job summary

Flex is seeking a Senior Staff Analytics Engineer to empower stakeholders by delivering robust data products. You will lead data modeling efforts, expose data to a broad set of users, and collaborate with analysts, engineers, PMs, and other teams.

You’ll help define requirements and be accountable for end-to-end data solutions. You will shape data standards, drive best practices in code, documentation, and testing, and contribute to Flex’s data culture.

Qualifications

• Expert proficiency with dbt or similar data modeling tool.
• Familiarity with BI tools (Sigma, Tableau, Mode).
• Strong analytics engineering development cycle experience: data modeling, version control, documentation + testing, and CI/CD.
• Expert knowledge of SQL and Snowflake data warehouses; ability to write efficient SQL.
• Experience within the fintech space.
• 6+ years as an analytics engineer or equivalent, shipping high quality products at scale.

Responsibilities

• Enable stakeholders to easily find the data they need to make decisions.
• Lead development of data models to consume, transform, and expose data to stakeholders and systems across Flex.
• Partner with analysts, engineers, PMs and others to define requirements and deliver end data products.
• Set company-wide standards for data regarding structure, quality, and expectations.
• Contribute Flex’s data culture by influencing processes, systems, and tools for scalable decision making.
