Job summary

ARSIEM is seeking a Sr. Analytic Developer to support the Access Discovery & Tradecraft mission from Fort Meade, MD. You will develop analytic capabilities, automate analyst workflows, and build software that enables mission success.

You will collaborate with mission analysts and data scientists to rapidly prototype, deploy, and transition innovations into operational use, embracing modern software practices and AI-assisted development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong software engineering with Python and Jupyter Notebooks.
• Familiarity with mission analyst tools and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Partner with analysts to identify opportunities to improve data discovery and analytic tradecraft.
• Gather and document user stories and translate mission needs into software solutions.
• Prototype apps that automate manual processes and optimize data workflows.
• Support transitioning prototypes into sustainable operational capabilities with AI-enabled solutions.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software using Python and Jupyter Notebooks.
• Create reusable components, APIs, and analytic tools for mission systems integration.
• Build scalable data processing workflows and automate analyst tasks.
• Collaborate with analysts to iterate prototypes and evaluate Generative AI technologies.
