Job summary

Yokogawa is seeking an Analytical Systems Engineer in Houston, TX to deliver customer satisfaction through applying chemical engineering expertise in analytical system design, implementation, and optimization, including gas chromatographs, CEMS, process analyzers, and sample conditioning.

You will work autonomously on complex tasks, lead technical decisions, document designs, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with control system teams and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

BS or MS in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 15+ years of experience.
Deep knowledge of analytical instrumentation, electrical systems, and control system integration.
Strong communication and independent technical-expert capabilities.

Responsibilities

Design and engineer analytical system solutions from customer specs.
Lead development and validation of analytical strategies using software and hardware.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
Coordinate with DCS/PLC integration and system commissioning.
Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
