Job summary

Dow is seeking a Site Analytical Specialist for Plant A in Freeport, TX. The role focuses on applying analytical chemistry to solve manufacturing and quality challenges, developing and validating methods, and ensuring data quality to support safe, reliable operations at the site.

You will lead projects, mentor colleagues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and adoption of new analytical capabilities across the plant.

Qualifications

• Associate degree plus ten years of experience in a manufacturing lab environment or a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field plus five years of relevant experience.
• Project and change management experience is preferred.
• U.S. work authorization is required; no visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Apply analytical chemistry and process knowledge to investigate and resolve complex manufacturing and quality challenges.
• Develop, validate, document, and implement analytical methods to improve data quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize analytical instruments and systems with internal and vendor support.
• Lead analytical projects, coordinate small teams, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Evaluate emerging analytical technologies and lead laboratory trials and method transfers.
