Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Analytical Scientist to lead pharmaceutical analysis projects in a hybrid environment. This role emphasizes method development, validation, transfer, and routine GMP testing to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or PhD in Analytical Chemistry and 6+ years of pharma analytical experience, with strong skills in HPLC and MS, data interpretation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD degree in Analytical Chemistry or related field.
• At least 6 years of pharmaceutical analytical development and testing experience.
• Proficient with HPLC and mass spectrometry and GMP/ICH guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished drug products.
• Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing per GMP protocols.
• Operate and maintain instruments (HPLC/UPLC, GC, MS, ICP-MS, NMR, FTIR).
• Analyze data, interpret results, and prepare reports.
• Troubleshoot methods and instrumentation and investigate OOS results.
• Mentor junior scientists and collaborate with R&D, QC, and Regulatory Affairs.
