Job summary

Lilly is seeking a Senior Analytical Scientist to support synthetic and biologic drug substance processes from transfer through scale‑up and production at the Lilly Medicine Foundry in Lebanon, Indiana.

You will collaborate with engineers, chemists, and process developers to implement new analytical technologies, drive method validation, and ensure GMP compliance across development and manufacturing. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in a STEM field with extensive analytical characterization experience.
• Experience with chromatographic systems and multiple detectors.
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Transfer analytical methods and refine test methods per ICH guidelines.
• Lead analytical/PAT strategy implementation for diverse drug substances.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to support clinical trials and regulatory submissions.
• Mentor teammates on experimental design and data interpretation.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, GLP, and safety requirements.
• Author and review SOPs, batch records, and transfer reports.
