Job summary

Eurofins USA Discovery Services in St. Charles, MO seeks a Scientist II – Analytical Chemist to support contract research services with applied LC-MS method development and bioanalytical work in CRO/industry labs.

This full-time role provides leadership and mentorship for junior scientists, develops analytical methods for ADME/DMPK and BioAnalysis, troubleshoots MS/HPLC systems, and supports method validation under FDA/ICH guidelines while advancing new service opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with LC-MS in CRO or industry lab.
• Experience validating bioanalytical methods per FDA/ICH/OECD guidelines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Quality Management System.
• High-throughput analytical method development for small molecules.
• Experience leading R&D or innovation programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform work in a laboratory setting.
• Develop LC-MS methods for ADME/ DMPK and BioAnalysis applications.
• Provide leadership and mentorship for junior scientists.
• Develop analytical methods supporting project teams for new assays.
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of MS and HPLC units.
• Prepare and manage inventory of buffers, reagents, semi-finished and finished goods.
• Provide solutions to complex problems and initiate process improvements.
• Support validation of new methods and expand service/product lines.
