Job description

Fishwife is a modern, values-driven food company focused on making ethically sourced, premium tinned seafood a daily staple. Founded and led by women, the company partners with fisherpeople in Alaska, California, Oregon, and Galicia, Spain to ensure high-quality products and responsible supply chains. Fishwife brings the vibrancy of European conservas culture to customers across North America through distinctive branding and thoughtfully curated offerings. The company has received significant media attention, including features in The New York Times, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Refinery29, New York Magazine, Epicurious, and Conde Nast Traveler, reflecting strong momentum and brand recognition.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a Sr Analyst, Systems and Data to support the critical systems, integrations, and data that keep our business running. This is a business-enablement role: you'll manage our ERP, EDI, and SaaS environment; maintain the integrations and automations that connect them; and help build or maintain the dashboards and data infrastructure leadership relies on. You will serve as the internal go-to data resource for the Fishwife team across Operations, Sales, Finance, and Marketing.

This is not a traditional IT support role. We need someone with the business and systems partnering background to be credible, answer questions, remove friction, and quietly make everything work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Integrations, Automation, and Business Partnering

  • Convert business problems into system solutions, through recommended workflows, system solutions, automated dashboards, or further integrations.
  • Build and maintain integrations between business systems (ERP, EDI, WMS, e-commerce, CRM, finance, marketing) using APIs, iPaaS tools, and middleware. Monitor that order and inventory transactions are complete and accurate between systems.
  • Manage EDI trading partner relationships end-to-end, including onboarding, document mapping, exception handling, and ensuring reliable order, shipment, and invoice flow.
  • Identify repetitive or manual workflows across the business and automate them; partner with department leads to scope, prioritize, and deliver automations with measurable impact.
  • Build and maintain a centralized data warehouse (or equivalent infrastructure) that consolidates data from across our platforms into a clean, reliable source of truth.
  • Stand up and maintain BI dashboards and reporting that give leadership and department heads real-time visibility into the business. Lead data democratization initiatives that empower cross-functional users to access and model data for departmental needs.
  • Apply AI tools (LLMs, copilots, agentic workflows, AI features in existing platforms) to solve real business problems, and establish responsible-use guidelines around data, accuracy, and governance.
  • Maintain clear documentation for systems, processes, and trading partner specs.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to convey ideas between technical and non-technical audiences
  • Practical technical background, including some combination of:
  • Troubleshooting an ERP and managing EDI environments.
  • Setting up BI dashboards and working with data warehouse / reporting infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with WMS, 3PL integrations, and e-commerce platforms (Shopify, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Excel & Google Suite
Preferred Factors Include
  • Experience in CPG, food & beverage, consumer goods, or DTC/wholesale environments.
  • Experience working in smaller or growing brands where ownership and flexibility are required
  • Exposure or experience to Cin7, Modus, and QuickBooks a plus, although relevant alternative system experience is suitable
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
