Job Description
FLSA - Exempt
Hours - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in office 3 days per week
This role involves handling external CMO for in-licensing products, new launches, and subsequent supplies. It also includes managing external CMO for contract services such as product development, tech transfer, and supply as per the production plan & supply commitments.

Key Responsibilities
- Review production plans and coordinate among demand and supply planning teams.
- Distribute plans to respective CMO and ensure execution aligns with requirements.
- Create and circulate purchase orders for production planning.
- Support monthly sales closing by ensuring delivery of committed products.
- Coordinate logistics of finished goods from CMO to warehouse.
- Proactively mitigate supply risks to meet business needs.
- Search for alternate vendors for critical SKUs as needed.
- Analyze cost sheets, negotiate, and finalize rates with third-party vendors.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and generate savings against budget.
- Facilitate product evaluation and approval from QA and R&D teams.
- Coordinate supplier payments and resolve invoicing, taxation issues.
- Maintain business agreement database and liaise with Legal for renewals and new agreements.
- Ensure quality compliance and resolve queries related to regulations.
- Coordinate dispatch, release of finished goods, and manage documentation.
- Review, approve, and facilitate artworks and product specifications.
- Manage product and process changes, including change controls for IL products.
- Create and update vendor and product codes in SAP.
- Coordinate audits with QA teams and handle market complaints investigations.
- Ensure production plans are feasible and monitor raw material availability.
- Track and coordinate raw material deliveries and quality releases.
- Schedule manufacturing and coordinate testing and dispatch of finished goods.
- Conduct physical stock verification and manage logistics for dispatch.
- Maintain inventory data and logs, identify slow-moving or expired stock.
- Resolve issues between CMO and internal teams.
- Handle artwork, product specifications, and complaint investigations.
- Prepare management reports and dashboards.
- Update vendor master data regularly.
Education
- Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharmacy) or Master in Pharmacy (M. Pharmacy)
- MBA in Operations/SCM from Tier I or II institutes preferred
Experience
- 10+ years in procurement, supply chain management, with leadership experience in sourcing and cost optimization across categories.
Physical Demands and Abilities
- Office environment with typical equipment usage.
- May encounter interruptions and need to handle physical tasks up to 20 pounds.
