Senior Analyst, Supply Planning & Procurement

Hours - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in office 3 days per week

This role involves handling external CMO for in-licensing products, new launches, and subsequent supplies. It also includes managing external CMO for contract services such as product development, facilitating tech transfer, and subsequent supplies as per the production plan & supply commitments.

• Review production plans and coordinate among demand and supply planning teams.
• Circulate plans to respective CMO and ensure execution as per requirements.
• Create purchase orders and circulate to CMO for production planning.
• Support monthly sales closing for the assigned business domain, ensuring all committed products are delivered.
• Coordinate logistics for finished goods from CMO to the principal warehouse.
• Proactively de-risk products to ensure continuous supply meeting business requirements.
• Search for alternate vendor development (AVD) of important SKUs as per business needs.
• Analyze cost sheets, validate prices, negotiate, and finalize rates with third parties.
• Identify opportunities to generate savings against budgets.
• Facilitate product evaluation and approval from GPL QA and R&D.
• Coordinate supplier payments and resolve invoicing, taxation, and other discrepancies with the finance team.
• Maintain a business agreement database for renewals and liaise with the legal team for new or renewed agreements.
• Coordinate quality requirements and resolve compliance queries with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate dispatch and release of finished goods.
• Review, approve, and release artworks as per regulations and business needs.
• Facilitate pack changes and product improvements.
• Raise change controls for IL products.
• Create product and vendor codes, and update vendor records in SAP.
• Coordinate audits with CMO and principal QA teams.
• Manage market complaints, investigate issues, and ensure timely closure.
• Coordinate with R&D and QA for product specifications and artwork reviews.
• Manage inventory, track raw material deliveries, and oversee stock verification.
• Arrange logistics for dispatching finished goods, including COA & PRA documentation.
• Act as a control tower for inventory management and control.
• Identify slow-moving or expired materials and coordinate transfers or sales.
• Resolve issues between CMO and internal departments.
• Collect data for MIS reports and analyze yield trends monthly.

Education

Bachelor Degree in B. Pharmacy or M. Pharmacy. An MBA in Operations/SCM from a Tier I or II institute is preferred.

Experience

10+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, including leadership in sourcing teams and driving cost optimization initiatives.

Physical Demands and Abilities

• Work typically in an office environment, using computers and office equipment.
• May encounter frequent interruptions and need to sit, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
