Lightsource bp is seeking a Senior Analyst, Structured Finance to support tax equity, debt financing, and strategic transactions across our expanding U.S. portfolio.

You will work directly on project financings from capital raising through commercial operation, providing financial analysis to support power offtake origination, investment decisions, and M&A opportunities. This highly analytical role offers hands-on exposure to renewable energy transactions and capital markets, with a hybrid work

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in project finance, structured finance, investment banking, consulting, or renewable energy development.
• Strong Excel-based financial modeling skills (modeling test included in interview).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or another quantitative field.
• Understanding of tax equity or renewable project finance structures preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking, organization, and communication skills.
• Interest in renewable energy and the energy transition.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain project finance models for tax equity and debt financing.
• Support capital raising from initial marketing to financial close.
• Prepare marketing materials for tax equity investors and lenders.
• Manage data rooms and due diligence with internal teams and advisors.
• Validate inputs in models for revenue, OPEX, and capex.
• Assist in term sheet negotiations via modeling and scenarios.
• Support investment committee materials for major milestones.
• Provide financial analysis for PPA, procurement strategy, and EPC negotiations.
• Track industry trends, market transactions, and competitive activity.
