Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Specialty Product Analyst to join the Specialty Product team in Seattle. You will analyze performance data, oversee product changes, and collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, and regulators to shape strategy for Motorcycle, RV, Watercraft, and Classic Car products.

The role emphasizes influence on product direction and requires strong data analysis, stakeholder communication, and multi-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or other quantitative field.
Typically 3–4+ years of relevant work experience.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and data analysis tools (SAS/Access).
Strong planning, organizational, analytical, decision-making and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Performs high complexity analyses under minimal direction to evaluate business performance and identify trends; makes actionable recommendations.
Influences direction of country-wide or state-level initiatives and conducts analyses to support strategic direction.
Manages projects of low to moderate complexity and presents results to Product managers.
Queries data for ad hoc analyses and builds tools for others to use.
Conducts in-depth research of competitor filings to understand marketplace impact and proposes product changes.
Research may be at state, competitor or countrywide level to propose changes to product offerings.
