Fortra is seeking an experienced Analyst Relations leader to own and execute our strategy with senior analyst firms. You will build senior relationships, coordinate engagements, and advise executives on messaging and market positioning.

You will collaborate with Product Marketing and Product Management, monitor market trends, and help transition to a scalable in-house program, while delivering measurable value to leadership and the broader organization.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own and execute Fortra's analyst relations strategy to strengthen relationships with key industry analyst firms.
• Build and maintain senior‑level relationships with analysts at Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and other relevant research organizations.
• Coordinate analyst briefings, inquiries, product demonstrations, and executive meetings.
• Prepare and advise executives and subject matter experts for analyst engagements by developing messaging, presentations, and briefing materials.
• Serve as a strategic partner to Product Marketing and Product Management to understand product roadmaps, market positioning, and competitive differentiation.
• Collaborate with Executive Leadership to communicate corporate strategy and business priorities to the analyst community.
• Monitor analyst research, market trends, and competitive intelligence, sharing actionable insights with internal stakeholders.
• Lead Fortra's participation in analyst research, including Magic Quadrant®, Wave™, MarketScape, and similar evaluations, where applicable.
• Establish and track analyst engagement activities and measure program effectiveness through defined success metrics.
• Partner with PR, Content, Web, and Design teams to ensure consistent external messaging across analyst‑facing communications.
• Lead the transition of analyst relations from an agency‑supported model to a scalable in‑house program, establishing the relationships, processes, and expertise needed for long‑term success.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Approximately 8-12 years of experience in Analyst Relations, Product Marketing, Product Management, Corporate Communications, or a related B2B technology function.
• Demonstrated experience in the cybersecurity industry, preferably with a cybersecurity vendor or adjacent B2B technology company.
• Established relationships with cybersecurity industry analysts at Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and similar organizations, with the ability to independently initiative and manage analyst engagements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts and provide counsel to executive and analyst audiences.
• Excellent relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and executive presence skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while exercising sound judgment and ownership.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience owning or helping to build an analyst relations program within enterprise software, cybersecurity, or SaaS.
• Experience leading analyst evaluations such as Gartner Magic Quadrant, Forrester Wave, or IDC MarketScape.
• Familiarity with competitive intelligence and market research methodologies
• Compensation: 150,000 USD - 170,000 USD
