Senior Analyst – Public Utility Regulation
Starting Salary Range: $80,246 - $115,000
The State Corporation Commission ("SCC" or "Commission") Division of Public Utility Regulation ("PUR") seeks a Senior Analyst with a passion for public service and protecting the public interest in Virginia. PUR provides support to the Commission in its regulation of Virginia’s investor-owned electric, natural gas, water and sewer utilities, member owned electric cooperatives, and the telecommunications industry. The selected candidate for the Senior Analyst position will take a leading role in investigating electric, water and gas utility proposals for changes in customer rates and revisions to terms and conditions of service, with a primary emphasis on evaluating how the utility proposes to allocate and recover costs from its customers. This position is based in Richmond, Virginia and operates on a hybrid schedule, including remote and in-office work each week (Monday – Friday).
