Job summary

WSB is seeking a Sr Analyst, PMO to drive project performance analysis and governance across the organization. You will partner with Project Managers and PMO leadership to ensure accurate data, reporting, and processes aligned with standards.

The role focuses on process improvement, actionable insights, and delivering dashboards using Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint for project teams and leadership. 4+ years in related roles is preferred and a commitment to collaboration and high-quality results

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in project management support, project controls, business analysis, PMO operations, or related functions.
• Experience supporting project delivery and performance measurement within a consulting/engineering environment preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership audiences.

• Meet regularly with assigned Project Managers to review KPIs, project financial performance, and status updates.
• Analyze project performance metrics and trends to provide actionable insights.
• Identify and escalate project risks or data discrepancies to PMO leadership.
• Evaluate project setup, budgeting, and resource planning for accuracy and compliance.
• Lead and support project setup and maintenance activities in PM systems.
• Manage project submissions and coordinate resolution of setup issues.
• Develop, maintain, and present dashboards and analyses for leadership.

What You Will Do

• Meet regularly with assigned Project Managers to review key performance indicators, project financial performance, and project status updates.
• Analyze project performance metrics and trends, providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve project outcomes.
• Identify, communicate, and elevate project risks, data discrepancies, or performance concerns to PMO leadership and key stakeholders as appropriate.
• Evaluate project setup, budgeting, and resource planning information to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with project requirements.
• Lead and support project setup and maintenance activities, ensuring project plans, contracts, budgets, and related information are accurately reflected within project management systems.
• Manage project submissions and coordinate resolution of project setup issues to support timely project execution.
• Develop, maintain, and present dashboards, reports, and analyses using Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint for Project Managers, Group Leaders, and organizational leadership.
• Support quarterly forecasting, planning, and business review activities through data analysis, reporting, and presentation of project performance information.
• Utilize project management, CRM, financial, and reporting systems to collect, validate, analyze, and interpret project data.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to project management processes, reporting, workflows, and system utilization.
• Maintain and enhance process documentation, templates, best practice guides, and training materials to support consistent project management practices.
• Conduct periodic reviews of PMO processes, documentation, and reporting structures to ensure effectiveness and alignment with organizational objectives.

What you will bring:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in project management support, project controls, business analysis, financial analysis, PMO operations, or related business insight functions.
• Experience supporting project delivery and performance measurement within a consulting, engineering, professional services, or project-based environment preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, and presentations for operational and leadership audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.

Software

• Familiarity with Power BI, Deltek, and CRM systems preferred.
