Job summary

WSB is seeking an Environmental Project Manager in Idaho to lead impactful civil and environmental engineering projects. You will manage projects from concept through construction while ensuring compliance with regulations and mentoring junior staff.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Civil or Environmental Engineering, has a P.E. license or the ability to obtain one, and possesses over 6 years of relevant experience. Competitive compensation and benefits are included.

What You Will Do

• Lead civil and environmental engineering projects from concept through construction
• Oversee design development including plans, drawings, reports, and permitting
• Ensure quality and technical excellence across project deliverables
• Collaborate with clients, agencies, and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff
• Conduct field visits and provide construction oversight
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or the ability to obtain one within 6 months
• 6+ years of experience in design and construction oversight
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design tools
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Experience with permitting and environmental compliance
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites
• Our preferred candidate will also bring:
  • Experience working with municipalities or public agencies
  • Familiarity with NEPA, SWPPP, NPDES, or related frameworks
  • Project management training or certification
