Responsibilities

Toyota’s North American Corporate Security & Emergency Management Department (CSEM) is seeking a Senior Analyst with strong project management, construction, and physical security systems experience to support physical security technology projects across North American operations.

This role is part of CSEM, reports to the Manager of Physical Security & Emergency Management Technology, and is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing assigned physical security projects, including construction coordination, system implementation, financial tracking, and project delivery.

The ideal candidate brings strong project management experience, practical construction knowledge, and physical security systems expertise. They can translate business requirements, technical standards, construction documents, site conditions, and stakeholder needs into projects that improve security, reliability, and operational readiness while supporting Kaizen.

What you’ll be doing

• Plan and execute assigned physical security technology projects across Toyota sites, including new builds, system uplifts, retrofits, and other security infrastructure improvements.

• Develop and maintain project scope, schedules, budgets, forecasts, milestones, risks, issues, changes, decisions, documentation, and countermeasures throughout the project lifecycle.

• Coordinate with site leaders, Security, Facilities, Engineering, technology teams, architects, engineers, general contractors, integrators, vendors, and other partners to align project activities with Toyota requirements, technical standards, construction schedules, and operational needs.

• Review and interpret architectural, electrical, low-voltage, security, and related construction drawings and specifications to identify requirements, scope gaps, design conflicts, constructability concerns, and coordination issues.

• Coordinate physical security systems and associated infrastructure, including access control, video management systems, visitor management, intercoms, turnstiles, perimeter security, access-controlled openings, and related building and technology interfaces.

• Participate in design reviews, construction meetings, site walks, system implementation, testing, commissioning, acceptance, turnover, and project closeout ensuring security related requirements are implemented.

• Coordinate integrators, contractors, consultants, and service providers supporting assigned projects and track performance, cost, schedule, quality, risks, and open issues ensuring security related requirements are implemented.

• Support assigned fire protection and related infrastructure projects through project coordination and execution in partnership with appropriate technical subject matter experts.

• Conduct or support root cause analysis for project, system, installation, and recurring performance issues by developing countermeasures and corrective actions to reduce recurrence and support continuous improvement.

• Prepare project updates and leadership briefing materials that provide visibility into project status, financials, risks, issues, decisions, and items requiring escalation or management support.

What you bring

• Experience in project management, physical security technology, construction, facility infrastructure, low-voltage systems, or related project delivery environments.

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex projects end to end lifecycle e.g. project planning, execution, implementation and closeout to handoff.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural, electrical, low-voltage, security, and related construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.

• Working knowledge of physical security systems, including access control, video management systems, low-voltage infrastructure, access-controlled openings, and related system interfaces.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks, resolve coordination issues, support root cause analysis, and develop practical countermeasures.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with construction teams, technical partners, vendors, site stakeholders, and leadership.

• Ability to manage multiple assigned projects across geographically dispersed locations while demonstrating sound judgment, accountability, and follow-through.

• Ability to Travel 20% of the time in domestically and potentially internationally.

Added bonus if you have

• Experience delivering physical security technology projects within construction or facility environments.

• Experience with Lenel OnGuard, Milestone XProtect, visitor management systems, or comparable enterprise physical security platforms.

• Experience delivering physical security projects within manufacturing, corporate, logistics, critical infrastructure, or other complex operational environments.

• Working knowledge of construction project delivery, security design coordination, door hardware and access-controlled openings, commissioning, acceptance testing, and system turnover.

• Experience supporting fire protection projects, including fire alarms, sprinklers, fire pumps, underground fire protection infrastructure, or other related fire systems.

• Familiarity with applicable construction, fire and life safety, OSHA, NFPA, building code, and AHJ requirements as they relate to project coordination and execution.

• Project management, construction management, physical security, or related professional certification or formal training (PMP, CPP, PSP, LEAN, etc.).
