AltaMed is seeking a Managed Care Patient Financial Senior Analyst to analyze financial and health data, delivering insights to support decisions on healthcare revenue, costs, and outcomes within managed care. The role focuses on reporting, capitation audits, risk pooling, and budgeting for AltaMed IPA.

You will identify revenue opportunities, analyze capitation underpayments, leakage, and billable services, and contribute to annual budgeting and financial planning in a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related areas with at least 5 years of financial analysis and reporting experience.
• Experience with databases and data analysis technology; Microsoft Access required.
• EZ Cap and SQL experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial and health information to develop insights for revenue, cost and clinical outcomes in managed care.
• Prepare managed care reporting, including capitation revenue audits and risk pool summaries, and assist budgeting.
• Identify revenue capture opportunities and participate in risk pool auditing and analysis; support annual budgeting.
