AltaMed Health Services is seeking a Senior Analyst, Managed Care Patient Finance in Montebello, CA. The role focuses on analyzing financial and health information to support decisions related to managed care revenue, costs, and clinical outcomes.

The position involves auditing capitation revenue, risk pool analysis, and identifying revenue capture opportunities to improve financial performance for AltaMed IPA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or other related areas with a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis and database reporting in the health care or managed care industry; Master’s degree reduces experience required.
• Experience with databases and data analysis technology; Microsoft Access is a must.
• EZ Cap and SQL experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial and health information to support decision-making in managed care revenue, cost, and clinical outcomes.
• Prepare capitation revenue audits, risk pool summaries, and incentive analyses.
• Identify revenue capture opportunities, including underpayments and leakage, and assist in annual budgeting.
