Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst to turn customer data into actionable insights across Marketing, Loyalty, Digital, and the business. You will investigate behavior, quantify opportunities, and tell data-driven stories to inform strategic decisions.

You’ll work at the Newport Beach office, collaborating with multiple teams, delivering executive-ready analyses, and shaping growth opportunities with rigorous experimentation and clear recommendations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in customer analytics, growth analytics, marketing analytics, business strategy, or analytical consulting.
• Advanced SQL proficiency and experience with large-scale cloud data platforms, preferably Snowflake.
• Strong analytical and statistical skills, including hypothesis testing, experimental design, and measurement of incremental impact.
• Working proficiency in Python or comparable analytical programming tools.
• Exceptional data storytelling and presentation skills, with ability to translate analyses into executive-ready narratives.
• Strong business acumen and ability to connect customer behavior to revenue, retention, profitability, and growth opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to independently structure ambiguous problems, challenge assumptions, and develop actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify growth opportunities by analyzing customer trends and behavior to increase engagement, frequency, retention, and lifetime value.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into structured hypotheses, analyses, and actionable recommendations.
• Deliver rigorous analyses using SQL, Python, and statistical techniques on large datasets.
• Quantify potential impact and size opportunities with addressable populations and incremental effects.
• Develop executive-ready business cases, case studies, and presentations that translate findings into strategic actions.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Loyalty, Digital, Data Science, and other teams to design experiments and measure impact.
• Document findings and create reusable knowledge to inform future decisions.
