Ally Financial is seeking an Operations Senior Analyst – Loan Closer in Bethesda, MD to manage deal setup, initial funding activities, and loan modifications within Loan IQ or similar systems. You will ensure KYC, AML and flood insurance requirements are met and coordinate with servicing teams for accurate account setup and changes.

The role requires 3+ years in commercial loan closing, a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel.

Qualifications

3+ years of operational commercial Loan Closing experience.
BA or BS in Accounting or Finance.
Excellent communication (verbal and written).
Analytical, detail oriented with problem solving capability.
High level of accountability and ability to prioritize tasks.
Experience with MS Word and MS Excel.
Experience with the Loan IQ system or similar loan syndication software.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed review of Legal Agreement and Underwriting Approval documents to obtain pricing/handling requirements and to set up new deals, ensuring accurate borrower balances and servicing requirements.
Handle time-sensitive Initial Funding activities and equity co-invest payments in the loan closing process.
Process all loan modifications including complex restructures.
Process all loan assignments as part of loan syndication or movements within co-lender funds.
Complete new deal set-up activities including review, finalize and validate setup requirements prior to funding.
Perform operational setup activities according to identified timeframes and procedures.
Perform all KYC, AML and Flood Insurance work to close deals per Ally policies.
Conduct review sessions to ensure accurate handling of new accounts and adjustments.
Knowledge of SOFR loan setups/repricing.
Familiarity with LC fees and renewals related to new deals and modifications.
Adhere to Ally’s operating procedures and SOX compliance.
