Job summary

MassMutual is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to shape systems requirements for insurance product development. You will collaborate with Product, Operations, Architecture, Engineering, QA, and Delivery teams to translate business objectives into actionable requirements and solution definitions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in business analysis or related technology delivery role.
• 3+ years supporting insurance operations and technology initiatives (Life/Annuity/Disability, etc.).
• 10+ years progressive BA/Business Systems Analysis experience; lead analyst on major programs.
• 3+ years leading requirements for complex systems and cross-functional initiatives.
• 5+ years creating requirements, specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria; launch readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements strategy for complex, cross-functional insurance product initiatives; translate business objectives into system requirements.
• Elicit, document, decompose, validate, and prioritize business and functional requirements for clarity and delivery readiness.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to shape solution approaches, evaluate impacts and dependencies, and guide decisions.
• Maintain requirements traceability across design, development, testing, implementation, and post-launch support.
• Facilitate working sessions, resolve ambiguity, and drive alignment across teams to reduce delivery risk and rework.
• Apply insurance domain knowledge to identify gaps and strengthen solutions throughout the product lifecycle.
