Job summary

KKR seeks a Senior Analyst to support expense accounting across the Insurance Segment. You will work hands-on in close, reporting and analysis within a complex multi-entity environment, collaborating across the organization to improve processes and controls.

The role requires a strong accounting foundation, analytical mindset, and a drive for continuous improvement; CPA progress is preferred and exposure to US GAAP and statutory accounting is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; CPA preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting experience within insurance or public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP; exposure to insurance statutory accounting helpful.
• Analytical, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication; Excel proficiency; ERP systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute expense accounting processes including accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets and lease accounting.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations and management reporting.
• Support quarterly and annual financial reporting under US GAAP and statutory bases.
• Assist budgeting and forecasting; analyze results and drivers.
• Maintain SOX controls; support audits and resolve issues.
• Collaborate across Finance and key functions to resolve accounting matters.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and automate accounting processes.
