We are seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Financial Governance & Controls team. This position plays a key governance role within Finance’s Business Units, ensuring alignment with our risk framework and supporting our control environment. You will engage with senior executives, analyze transactional activities, and provide insights into internal procedures to support organizational objectives.

Ideal candidates will have expertise in risk management and governance, with the ability to make a significant impact in a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining an effective financial governance framework including policies, guidelines, and programs to promote transparency and consistency.
• Leading oversight and governance activities, monitoring and reporting on governance program status, and supporting system and framework evolution.
• Managing databases, ensuring data integrity, and supporting analysis, forecasting, and visualization.
• Designing reports and dashboards, developing communication strategies, and providing governance-related solutions and recommendations.
• Advising on the implementation of governance frameworks, coordinating governance activities, and interpreting regulatory changes.
• Building relationships with stakeholders, supporting strategic initiatives, and leading change management activities.
• Monitoring performance, addressing issues, and assisting in regulatory reporting processes.

Qualifications:

• Typically 4-6 years of relevant experience with a related post-secondary degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge of business and regulatory environments; control frameworks like SOX 404, COBIT, COSO preferred.
• Strong technical, communication, collaboration, analytical, and influence skills.
• Data-driven decision-making capabilities.

Salary: $56,000 - $104,000 (Salaried)
