We are seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Financial Governance & Controls team. This position serves as a key governance function within Finance’s Business Units, ensuring alignment with our organization’s risk framework and contribution to our overall control environment. In this role, you will have an opportunity to engage with senior-level executives, collaborate across organizational levels, analyze transactional activities from a process and control perspective, and provide insights into internal procedures supporting our broader organizational objectives.

Expertise in risk management and governance will make you an ideal candidate to make a significant impact and work with a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develops or maintains an effective financial governance and controls framework, including policies, guidelines, and programs to promote transparency, accuracy, and consistency.
  2. Leads or assists in oversight and governance activities, including monitoring, reporting, and analysis.
  3. Supports the development and maintenance of the governance system and framework.
  4. Manages databases, ensures data quality, and supports analysis, forecasting, and visualization.
  5. Coordinates management of databases and ensures data alignment with governance standards.
  6. Designs and produces reports and dashboards, and leads communication strategies.
  7. Provides advice on governance framework implementation and regulatory compliance.
  8. Participates in governance meetings, prepares documentation, and facilitates agenda development.
  9. Builds relationships with stakeholders and supports strategic initiatives and change management activities.
  10. Analyzes data to provide insights and recommendations, and assists in issue resolution and regulatory reporting.
Qualifications:
  • Typically 4-6 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of business and regulatory environment, control frameworks (e.g., SOX 404, COBIT, COSO).
  • Technical proficiency and strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and influence skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making capabilities.
Compensation and Benefits:

Salary: $56,000 - $104,000 (pay type: salaried). Compensation may include bonuses, incentives, and benefits such as health insurance, tuition reimbursement, and retirement plans. More details are available at Total Rewards.
