Job summary

Consilio LLC is seeking a highly motivated FP&A analyst to support the eDiscovery business within our organization. This position emphasizes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally and independently to drive financial planning, analysis, and decision-making.

You will prepare forecasts, analyze revenue data, and provide ad-hoc insights to steer strategic initiatives and improve profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• 1+ years of Consulting, Strategy or FP&A experience.
• Strong understanding of revenue accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication across teams.
• Experience with the eDiscovery industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly forecast of current month revenue in collaboration with Accounting, Billing, Client Services, and Sales. Present forecast bi-weekly to company leadership including President, CFO and Executive Leadership team members.
• Review revenue data during close process for accuracy and variance to forecast. Present findings and variance analysis to Client Services and Finance leadership.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analyses and decision support to business unit leaders to evaluate strategic initiatives, investment opportunities, and operational improvements.
• Create value-added commentary and insights for the monthly operations review, helping leadership understand key financial and operational trends.
• Conduct in-depth variance analysis, identifying drivers behind financial performance and recommending actions to improve results.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of billing, revenue reporting, and revenue forecasting.
• Support ad-hoc financial projects, scenario analysis, and other analytical initiatives as needed.

Minimum Education Requirements:

• Bachelor degree required in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.

Minimum Experience Requirements:

• 1+ years of Consulting, Strategy or FP&A experience
• Solid understanding of revenue accounting principles, financial metrics, and performance measurement concepts.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with eDiscovery industry preferred.
